The 30th of June, which happens to be ofcourse the last day in the month was a very busy one for me, i was bent on making the day count, share in my diary for the day friends.

IN THE MORNING HOURS...

I felt really energetic and hopeful, i decided to make a smoothie recipe of;

• Watermelon
• Banana
• Cucumber
• Tiger nut
• Milk

I had some bananas already at home which i got from the market 2 previous days ago, kept in the fridge, so i was stucked on getting the three other items.

I didn't go too far, i got them at my street junction, it was much easier than going down to the market, although the market price would have been fairer, don't blame me, i just love to cut down stress sometimes.

I washed my fruits clean, divided them to pieces to fit into the blender.

I hadn't even switched on the blender when power just went AWOL. It was just a bad timing and i just prayed it was restored sooner but unfortunately, it wasn't.

AFTERNOON HOURS;

I felt really hungry and decided to go out and grab some fresh air a bit.

I treated myself to rice and chicken at Chicken republic in Uyo around Atiku Abubakar way, uyo.

It was a sumptuous meal, i enjoyed it.

After that, i headed back home, time was racing, on getting home, no sign of electricity still, it kind of made me angry, thinking if was how my fruits and money will just waste without me achieving my aim.

I decided to lie a little, i think i dozed off, inbetween i felt a cool breeze, and realized there was power again, i jumped out of bed to continue my unfinished business with my smoothie.

I know i overloaded the blender, that was because i was scared that power might still misbehave, i needed it done once and for all.

Finally, it came out really well.

It was satisfying, fruits is nutritious the body.

EVENING HOURS...

I stumbled upon a fancy teen book, Totally Lucy, and gave it a good read. It was about a girl named Lucy making up a secret fashion club for girls in her school.

I listened to some songs before eventually drifting into the night.
