Battlefield V Review
The game's single-player mode, Stories, returns with some interesting concepts in a campaign that seems a bit too short and a little too preoccupied with stealth at the price of getting to rock ‘n roll with some of the game's grittier guns. The campaign offers a unique story from a different aspect of the conflict, placing you in the feet of fighters on the African front or a teenage member of the Norwegian rebellion.
The tone is bright, with tales of daring-do and survival at any costs that feel a million miles away from Battlefield 1's melancholy feeling. Each chapter will immerse you in an open environment brimming with vehicles, adversaries, weapons, and possibilities. Exploration and research can be fruitful here, although the game generally encourages you to use a silent approach, whether it's with a melee weapon, a suppressed gun, or even throwing knives.
Battlefield is, after all, a shooting game, and it handles being in a life-or-death combat admirably. It's not so good at crawling around on your belt buckle or scuttling around behind a warehouse looking for an exit. The detection UI is simple, and the benefits for being silent aren't particularly appealing. Obviously, you can forget this attitude and play the game like a chase shooter, but the truly spectacular set pieces don't appear as frequently as they did in Battlefield 1.
The studio has wasted an easy chance here, as Call of Duty has opted out of a dramatic triple-A campaign this year, despite the fact that shooter fans are clamoring for one. Even if it's a lot of fun, this isn't it. Watchtowers are the new Battlefield's most prominent feature, allowing you to use your toolbox to construct defenses in certain places. All you have to do now is pull your toolbox out and create these barricades, which will be the same every time. Everything you construct has value since it was meticulously designed by DICE.
The games likewise move at a faster speed than Battlefield 1, which was slowed down by the use of WW1-era weapons. Close quarters combat is harsh and swift, with staccato bursts of gunfire as two walls of flesh collide. Three of the four classes have access to heavy tight angle weapons, so close quarters fighting is brutal and quick.
At the time of its release, Battlefield V is unquestionably the best game in the series' history, as well as a game that deserves praise for its beauty, solid mechanics, excellent storytelling, and moral ambiguity. Battlefield V is terrifying, but it's also a brutally amazing game.
This is the best first person war game I have ever played. I would like to recommend this game to you guys.
Is this game playable with friends? good review btw
Yes, you can play as a squad but for that, you have to buy the legit version of the game.
Nice game review. Can I play this game on smartphones?
Unfortunately no. This game is only for PC, PS4 and XBox.
