The game of basketball first started in 181 in Massachusetts, USA. The father of the game is the director of the physical education department of Pringfield YMC College in America. James Neismith. At first 10/15 people took part in the game in a group. From 1894, the rule of playing in a team of 5 people was introduced. Basketball was introduced in the first Christian missionary schools in Bangladesh, such as St. Gregory in Dhaka, St. Joseph's and St. Placid in Chittagong, and other missionary schools. This game requires a lot of breath.
The basketball court will be rectangular, the floor will be solid and equivalent and the length of the uninterrupted national and regional sports court will be 28 m. And width 14 meters. For international competitions, the court will be 27 meters long and 15 meters wide.
There are 3 round circles in the middle. The radius of each is 1.60 m.
The height of the ring from the court is 3.05 m. The radius of the ring is 45 cm.There will be a mesh with the ring and its length will be 40 cm .
