Contest: Write a Short Story Taken From Your Life | School Edition | by @phlexygee
My life in school precisely comprises of mixed feelings. The good part is that I have the opportunity to explore and make good friends.
The University is a huge discourse community which has groomed me very well with regards to the broadening of my horizon and it has improved my communication skills, interpersonal skills and many other skills.
I have been able to catch up with many good friends in school who of course outweighs the stubborn ones.
Seeing nice girls on campus is always a pleasure which has made me not to miss a single lecture. The boys also make campus very interesting through their baseless arguments and their active participation in sports and various games competition.
I honestly can't leave out the departmental games as well as the Students' Representative Council (SRC) week celebration where Ghanaian music artists such as Stonebwoy, Yaa Pono, Kelvin boy, Tulenkey, O.V and many others gave out their best performance infact I was very happy because I am a fun of their music.
A girlfriend I had from campus departmental games
As a football player I got prepared, took my bicycle and went to the football pitch to partake in an ongoing interdepartmental games, whiles I was dressing up I saw an angel riding my bicycle after I parked it somewhere without locking it. Whiles she was riding without permission the bicycle's chain got removed so I decided to help her and then through the process we introduced ourselves to each other. She told me her name is Tina. Since that occasion we have been friends till date and I hope school do not separate us.
The ugly part of my school life is about insufficient money, sleepless nights due to learning and how I miss my family.
After all the experiences I will conclude that school is a healer and a killer. It brings us together and separate us.
