Hello beautiful people,
A few days ago, I have cooked Vuna Khichuri at my weekend. Today I am going to share the whole recipe and the full process. Hope you will like it. So, further delay let's start.

First of all, I have chopped onion and fried them in oil. When the onion gets reddish then I put all the other ingredients like salt, garlic paste, Cumin paste, Ginger paste etc. Mixed all of them together and fry them till they got properly fried.

When all the ingredients have mixed properly with onion and the color becomes reddish then I put the chicken and fry them together.

After some time, I put some water to steam the meat properly. Then keep the heat steady and wait till all the water has gone and the meat steamed properly. When the chicken meat is ready I get it down from the stove.

After preparing the chicken, I washed all the rice and dal together and keep them in a bucket. Then again I fry the onion slice and when it is ready I put all the ingredients like the chicken for Khichuri. I put salt, garlic paste, Cumin paste, Ginger paste, etc like before.

Putting all the ingredients together and mixing them properly.


Then, I put all the rice and dal into the pan and fry them. I have to fry them properly that's why I took and time and carefully fry them all. When the fry is done, I put the double amount of water compared to the rice and then put all the chicken curry that I have prepared and let them cook together.

Then, all the main part is done. Now, it's time to wait till the rice is cooked properly and all the water has gone. When it is ready, I have stopped the stove and my cooking is done. Now, it's time to serve the Roasted Khichuri/ Vuna Khichuri and eat it.

It was my first time cooking Roasted Khichuri/ Vuna Khichuri. It was a wonderful experience and the food was tasty as well. Hope you guys liked the recipe.
