Air usually contains 21 percent oxygen, 6 percent nitrogen, 31 percent carbon dioxide, and a certain proportion of ozone, hydrogen, etc. If for some reason the lack of oxygen in the air increases the concentration of other gases or the rate of sand increases, then it becomes polluted. Due to severe air pollution, people are constantly suffering from deadly diseases like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lung cancer.

How air pollution causes asthma:

Asthma is an inflammatory condition of the lungs. This causes some inflammatory inflammation to temporarily narrow the airways. Due to this, it is difficult to breathe. Dust enters the respiratory tract with human breathing and increases the amount of shortness of breath. Once the polluted air enters the lungs, free radicals can form there. These free radicals have been shown to play a significant role in the development of respiratory diseases. Asthma is also inherited.

The cause of the increase in asthma in urban areas:

The main reason for the increase in asthma in urban areas is overcrowding. Many people live together in the city. This makes the indoor environment damp and unhealthy. Dust mites are a major cause of dust mites in the home furniture, which greatly increases asthma. This problem is relatively less due to the open environment of the village.

One of the sources of air pollution is cars, industrial areas, brick kilns, and civil waste. Harmful benzene is emitted from converted natural gas (CNG) powered vehicles. In addition, lead emissions from carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and aldehydes contaminate the air with car fumes due to sulfur and lead-containing gasoline, adulterated fuel oil, and faulty engines. Leaving the sand-cement used in construction in open space, digging over a large area for a long time creates obvious dust pollution all around.

To prevent the spread of asthma, the level of air pollution must be reduced. This is possible if everyone is aware. If steps are taken to prevent air pollution, future generations will grow up healthy.
