THE ART OF COTORNICULTURE PART III

in Steem Bangladesh3 years ago

Good morning to the entire Steem community. Today I will continue with the theme of the Art of Cotorniculture. Regarding the fundamental aspects for its reproduction, the quail has an incubation space between 16 and 17 days and the young are born with an average weight of 8 to 10 grams, achieving a fairly rapid growth, for which they manage to double and even triple their weight and size in the subsequent three weeks of life. Female offspring achieve an average weight of 150 grams, while males achieve 120 grams in their eighth week of life; This stage from the birth of the young is very complex because I recommend extreme care for these animals.
As for its digestive system, it is made up of the oral cavity, beak, cheeks, tongue, pharynx, salivary glands, esophagus and crop, proventriculus and gizzard, liver and gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, large intestine and cloaca. The detailed study of its digestive system allows us to thoroughly handle any type of disease and abnormal behavior of the quail.
As well as the knowledge of the respiratory system is essential, consisting of the nostrils, larynx, trachea, syrinx, bronchial system, lungs, air sacs.
