Contest: Write a Short Story Taken From Your Life || My Trip to Kintampo Waterfalls

Hello, fellow Steemians. This is my entry for the aforementioned contest. Today, I will be sharing with you my trip to a local tourist attraction site in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. This was one of many trips on that fateful day, but somehow It was my favorite for the day. The trip took place two years ago. I was a final year Biological Sciences student, and as demanded by the program we had to visit some places before graduating. So the number of students at the site was huge.

Before we took off, we gathered around to engage in some games competition. I was on the video game side, but the others were also playing games likes Cards, etc.

Eventually, the buses came around and we boarded - and took off. It took a while for us to get to the destination. When we got there, we were directed by the tourist guide to the waterfalls.

We passed through some bushy areas and came across massive stairs that led directly to the waterfalls. The stairs also provided a beautiful scenery of the site.

Climbing down those stairs was quite tiring.

When we got down there, there were already other tourists around. So we joined them and had fun.

I forgot to take my swimming costume along so I could not swim. After a while, I settled with close friends and told some jokes.

It was truly a fun-packed day. I just wished you could have been there.
