Assalamu Alaikum, everyone is fine. Today I will discuss about carom board game in Game Review.
Some unknown rules of playing carom:

Carom board is a very popular sport among domestic games or indoor games. This game is prevalent in all levels of town and village. As a result, most of the boys and girls in our country are skilled in the game of carom. The use of this game is not limited to boys and girls only. The elderly and the elderly do not have a pair of carom games. There is no better game at such a low cost. Moreover, as space or playing area is less required, many people play carom at home with their wives, sons and daughters.

Moreover, the number of players required to play carom is less. This game is possible only if there are two or four players. In singles, one team can play two players in each team and in doubles, two players can play four players in each team. Moreover, play equipment is not needed too much. Equipment requires a board of 19 cocoons and a striker. Although the game of carom is very popular and widely practiced in our country, it is sad to say that there is no federation of carom in our country. However, there are federations of many less popular and lesser known sports than carom. And since there is no federation, there are no proper rules and regulations of this game. Competitive tournaments of this game are seen to be held in different schools, colleges, universities, club-associations, neighborhoods, mahallas. And since there is no federation, these competitions are held according to local rules. And many times it is seen to be a disaster.

The length of the square and the counterpart will be a minimum of 83.50 cm and a maximum of 64 cm. The surface is so smooth that if a striker weighing 15 grams hits the wooden frame in the opposite direction too hard, the striker will hit the wooden frame in the opposite direction too hard.

(2) The frame of the carom board shall be fastened with rosewood or any other hard wood around the surface of the board. This wood will be ‘synced’ i.e. it will not crack or bend in cold or heat. The height of the frame from the top of the board should be at least 1.90 cm and 2.54 cm. The board also needs to have a small square frame attached below it to keep the surface flat.

(3) Pockets: The board will also have 4 round 'pockets' at the four corners. The diameter of each pocket will be 4.45 cm. The diameter of the pocket is 0.15 cm. The diameter of the pocket can be enlarged to 0.15 cm. This pocket should also be made by cutting the prowl attached to the frame at the four corners of the board.

(4) The Board's Base Line: a. Two straight lines of 48 cm long black color will be drawn on the top of the board parallel to the frame on each side of the board. The bottom of these two lines will be 0.50 cm to 0.75 cm wide and 10.15 cm from the frame. The distance between the bottom of the base line and the other narrow line will be 3.18 cm.

A. A circle will be drawn on each end of the 'base line'. The diameter of this circle will be 3.16 cm. The area with a diameter of 2.54 cm in this circle will be red. These circles are called 'base circles'. This circle should be drawn in such a way that it touches both ends of the base line. Moreover, the distance between the 'Base Circle' on one side and the 'Base Circle' on the other side will be 1.26 cm.

(5) Arrow drawn at the angle of the board: Four arrows of black color 0.15 cm wide should be drawn by marking along the middle of the pocket at each corner of the carom board. This arrow will pass through the space between the two base circles on either side and will be 5.00 cm away from the pocket. The length of each arrow shall not exceed 26.60 cm. At the back of the arrow may be a beautiful semicircle with a diameter of 6.35 cm.

(6) Center Circle: At the center point of the surface of the board there will be a circle with a black line of 3.17 cm diameter. This circle should be covered with red. This is called 'center circle'.

The power of the bulb can be 60 or 100 watts for convenient lighting on the carom board. However, arrangements have to be made so that the light does not catch the eye of the player in any way.
