Contest: Bangladeshi Holiday .Eid-ul-Fitr, a special holiday in Bangladesh.09/06/2021.
Assalamu Alaikum, how are you? I hope everyone is well. Today I will discuss about Eid-ul-Fitr, a special holiday in Bangladesh.
Eid-ul-Fitr:
Is a public religious festival and a day of forgiveness for the sins of the believers
Islam is a religion founded on Fitrat. That is, the humanization of whatever human nature and nature desires, the name of the system of beautification of human life and society is Islam.
What is not normal to have in life is not worthy of the identity of Islam. Therefore, Islam does not allow self-immolation in the name of religion.
The real Dharmasadhana is to make life full of joy and entertainment and then to be devoted to the Creator with a satisfied heart. That is why Islam organizes two festivals a year for Muslims.
Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on the first day of a Shawwal month. The second is Eid-ul-Azha.
Introduction to Islamic Eid:
Surviving the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Makki was a very difficult matter.
So there was no opportunity to observe and celebrate social rituals. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) migrated to Medina, the first opportunity to establish a sense of social independence of the Muslims came. In the second year of the Hijri, Allah, through His Messenger (peace be upon him), commanded the Muslims to observe the national festival. Hazrat Anas (RA) has narrated a hadith. He said that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) migrated to Medina, the people there used to hold two festivals of joy every year. In it they used to play sports and have fun. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked, 'What is the specialty of these two days?' They replied, "We used to play and have fun in these two days in the age of ignorance." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Allaah has appointed two better days instead of these two to celebrate your joy.' One of them is Eid-ul-Fitr and the other is the day of sacrifice. (Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith: 1134, Al-Musdatrek Alas Sahihain, Hadith: 1091, Musnad Ahmad, Hadith: 13622)
Universal religious festival :
Islam is the religion of humanity. World brotherhood is one of the hallmarks of the ideological superiority of Islam. One of the elements of universality. That is why some people in the society will be intoxicated with enjoyment and some people will cry for the pain of life forever. Therefore, Islam has banned Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azhar as universal festivals for Muslims by forbidding them from participating in the ugly and discriminatory festivals that have flowed in the style of ignorance.
Islam has also enacted effective provisions to protect the universality of Eid. Provisions of Islam to protect the universality of Eid-ul-Fitr-
Fasting is forbidden :
In order to protect the universality of Eid-ul-Fitr, Islam has declared it forbidden for Muslims to fast on this day. So that no one can question the universality of the national festival by observing Nafl Ramadan. Because a festival in which all the members of the nation do not participate equally cannot be called a national festival. Narrated by Hazrat Abu Udayd. He said, "Once on the day of Eid-ul-Azha, I was present before Hazrat Umar (ra). He started the day of Eid with prayers. Then he gave a sermon. He said in his sermon, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbidding fasting for two days." The day of Eid-ul-Fitr is a day to break your fast and a day of joy for Muslims.
And on the day of Eid al-Adha you will eat the flesh of your sacrifice. (Sunan Abu Dawood: 2417, Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah: 2959, As-Sunanul Kubra: 6249)
Sadaqatul Fitr:
Islam has made Sadaqatul Fitr obligatory on those who can afford it to make Eid-ul-Fitr universal. Because I want to buy new clothes, good food, perfume etc. for Eid. It is not possible for the poor people of the society, whose daily life goes on in a state of deprivation and pain, to acquire the means of happiness. Therefore, Islam has made Sadaqatul Fitr obligatory on the able-bodied as a purifier of their fasts (purification of mistakes).
And it has been declared as the right of poor people. So that the poor people do not lose the expression of the soul in the joy of Eid as a helpless consumer of the kindness or grace of others. 6438)
Salatul Eid
Another great element of the universality of Eid joy is Salatul Eid.
On the first morning of Eid, all the people of the area gather in the open field and stand behind the same Imam, rich and poor, educated and uneducated, big and small, black and white, performing the obligatory prayers of two rak'ats. It really became a great pleasure!
The great scene of performing prayers for the sake of Allah in the open field before everything else in the national festival is very much loved by Allah the Almighty. That's why he used to show the angels gathered at the Eidgah and say to the angels, look at my angels! My servants have gathered to pray for them, describing my greatness at the end of observing my provision (fasting in the month of Ramadan).
I swear my greatness and greatness! I will grant all their prayers. Then Allah addressed all the worshipers together and said, "Go back. I have forgiven all your sins and changed your sins into good deeds." (Bayhaqi-Shuabul Iman: 3444, Fazailul Awqat: 155, Ahadisul Qudsiyah: 16)
May the day of Eid-ul-Fitr, the year-round festival, be the day of universal celebration, may the material joy be full of pure devotion. Eid Mubarak.
