Radio was the only way to spend time in earlier times.At that time people did not have TV and mobile phone in their house, then people He used to listen to games, songs, news, stories etc. on various FM channels on the radio.In the present age, radio is almost extinct.
Without it, radio is a powerful means of communication. It transmits information using electromagnetic waves. Guglielmo Marconi, chief inventor of radio technology. After Heinrich Rudolf Hertz's discovery of electromagnetic waves in the 180's, Guglielmo Marconi was the first to use this technology to create a successful device for long-distance communication.
