In Venezuela it is very common to see in gardens, avenues and parks the striking color of the red cayenne flower. Five red petals that last only one day, but the next day another one sprouts, that is to say that it does not stop exhibiting its flowers throughout the year.

The cayenne presents a wide range of colors in its flowers such as: white, red, pink, scarlet, orange, yellow and shaded, depending on the species can be simple or double. To improve the appearance of the plant can be pruned as it can reach a height of about 3 meters. It does not require special care.
