A woman named Leona Stevenson received an unwanted call due to a telephone line malfunction. That call contained a plot to murder a woman, which Leona overheard due to the glitch. He didn't realize the gravity of the situation at first, but he came to realize it as time went on. He can't leave his room, though, because the wheelchair is his only option.

She makes an attempt to contact her husband. But, due to her upbeat and commanding personality, she was unable to find her husband at the time. Everything was blown up by the cops without acquiring any evidence. Then he must sit in his room and try each one individually. And, despite his involvement in the incident, he is caught up in an unforeseen mystery.

The premise of Anatole Litvac's film Noah (1948), "Sorry, Wrong Number," is unquestionably great. The one-and-a-half-hour screenplay is based on Lucille Fletcher's 22-minute radio drama and is fast-paced, lean, and exciting. Each of the traditional elements of suspense has been expertly employed. Its plot is set across a period of time, but it is intriguing enough. In that situation, there is room for panic. Barbara Stanwick is the star of the show. The thrill of losing one's mind has risen to the fore. And he's handled the entire game so well that seeing him perform while seated in front of the TV is likewise a terrific experience. Bert Lanchester has also had an outstanding effort.

Litvak's deft handling has to be applauded for instilling a sense of fear and anticipation throughout the atmosphere. The sound design and low-key lighting all contribute to a more emotional ambiance. It is, without a doubt, a "Authentic Anatole Litvac Film." Noah, this is a very stylish film. The film's impact has increased as a result of the climax.
