Sharing the Sights of my Area, by @alegnita

Do you happen to know my beloved Bolivar City (Bolívar State, Venezuela) which is having an interesting historical center and it's located by the narrowness part of the Orinoco river? This place is very unique due to several reasons. Let's see why. 😊

The Metropolitan Cathedral was the sad witness of the Manuel Piar's death in one of its huge lateral walls, a historical and important character that took a featured performance during the independence period of my country in the XIX century. This large catholic church can be seen easily from above, emerging majestically among the other colonial buildings. 💒

The Angostura's bridge was inaugurated in the decade of 60's, being built at the shortest length of the river. This art of engineering was the first in its type over the Orinoco and it's an important connection between the Guayana area (South of the country) with the rest of states from Venezuela. 🌉

And finally, we're having the Zamuro Hill, located at the highest part of the city in order to have a whole sight for strategic plans developed in the small fort that was built over there. In this particular place, it's possible to find cannons that were used to defend the perimeter of the city against probable enemies, specially at the beginning of last century. 🏞️
