How to make delicious South Indian Murukku in 15 minutes in the simplest way at home?
Required things:
Raw rice flour - 1/2 kg
Cumin or Sesame - a little bit
Asafoetida - a little
Melting Ghee or butter - two tsp
Salt - Required amount
Oil - for Frying
Recipe:
Put Raw rice flour, butter, cumin or sesame, salt, and asafoetida together and knead it with a little water. Put it on the Murukku Press (Instrument of preparing the Murukku), apply a little oil on a plate, and squeeze orderly.
Pour the oil into the dry pan and when it is hot for 5 minutes, gently put the squeezed murukku in the pan and fry till to golden brownish color.
Now the crispy and delicious Murukku twist is ready. Leave it to cool for a few minutes and then put it in a bowl and store it. Can be kept safely for at least 15 days.
