Greetings everyone. Given this opportunity i'll bring to you tomatoes.

MY FAVOURITE SUMMER FRUIT IS TOMATO

The tomato is the edible berry of the plant Solanum lycopersicum,commonly known as a tomato plant. Tomatoes are fruits that are considered vegetables by nutritionists. Botanically, a fruit is a ripened flower ovary and contains seeds. You can grow tomatoes indoors to keep them alive all year, but indoor tomatoes tend to be smaller than outdoor plants in the summer as well as producing less of a harvest. You can move plants from outside to the indoors for the winter.

WHY DO I EAT THIS FRUIT MORE IN SUMMER?

Tomatoes contain about 94% water and are the major dietary source of the antioxidant lycopene, which has been linked to many health benefits, including reduced risk of heart disease and cancer. They are also a great source of vitamin C, potassium, folate, and vitamin K.

WHAT IS THE NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF THE FRUIT?

Lycopene in tomato helps protect them from the ultraviolet rays of the sun ,in much the same way, it can help protect your cells from damage. Tomatoes also have potassium, vitamins B and E.

HOW READILY AVAILABLE IS THE FRUIT IN MY AREA?

Tomatoes are grown every seoson in my area ,at any point in time you need tomatoes you'll get them.My country has just two seasons(rainy and dry season). But I believe in all countries you can have tomatoes in every seoson
