What is the name of your favorite fruit in summer?
My favorite summer fruit is pineapple. The pineapple is a tropical plant with an edible fruit and the most economically significant plant in the family Bromeliaceae. The pineapple is indigenous to South America, where it has been cultivated for many centuries.

-Eating a few slices of fresh pineapple a day can defend your body from harmful free radicals and diseases
-Pineapple help your digestion by cleaning the body's organs and blood.
-This fruit also increases your energy intake and boost metabolism, nourish your hair, skin, nails and teeth and keep you generally healthy.
-Pineapple naturally has it great taste when ripe.
-Pineaple juice provides nutrients, such as copper and several B vitamins, that are important during pregnancy.

• What is the nutritional value of the fruit?

Eating it may be particularly advantageous for women because its high vitamin C content plays an important role in supporting healthy bones and reducing the risk of osteoporosis.

• How readily available is that fruit in your area?
We have two seasons in my country, Dry and rainy season.
Pineapple is grown more in my country during the dry season which is equivalent to summer.

• Should everyone eat this fruit for health reasons?
Everyone should eat pineapple for health benefits whereas on the other hand , pineapple causes a certain irritation the irritation is caused by a combination of enzymes in pineapples called bromelian, which break down proteins and essentially attack your tongue, cheeks, and lips on contact.So if your mouth hurts after eating raw pineapple,no worries it happens virtually to everyone. Eating pineapple in combination with other fruits like papaya ,mangoes ,apples and watermelon is really good for your health.
