What is sadhana?

Sadhana is the name given to the continuous application of knowledge with an inquisitive eye and concentration on unresolved or obscure matters.

If the pursuit is like this, if the finished goods are finished goods, knowledge is its raw material. So there is nothing to brag about just knowledge. When the power of knowledge is spent on the path of sadhana, we can assume that the ultimate application of knowledge is taking place. When a scientist studies a subject for a noble purpose, it is a kind of pursuit.

When poets, writers, philosophers turn their heads on any subject, it is also a kind of pursuit. The highest stage of the pursuit is that of a thirsty great being who constantly strives for spiritual growth or awakening of the soul.

We call a person who is successful in such pursuits a devotee or a perfect man. It is through the mouths of these perfect men that the great Creator speaks, expressing feelings with the heart. Thus the ugly creator informs of its existence in the universe under the shelter of Swarup.

And in this way a wonderful union is formed between the Creator and the creation through the perfect man.
