My entry to Contest - "Object of the Week" #37 - а tree

This is my first time to join this contest and good thing that I still have time to post one for the week as it is ending today.

I forgot the name of this tree but I think it is Erythrina crista-galli. I just don't know the local name.

This tree grows in one of the parks here in the city. I just noticed the foliage when I was walking past it. I couldn't even fit everything it in the frame. There are other trees like around the city but this is the one that caught my attention that time. It was taken during the flowering season. I wanted to have the flowers pop out more but still I am satisfied with this shot.

An interesting bench sits under it wherein books are donated. Anyone can donate or take home books or read it under the tree. This was a concept where it encourages the act of giving, taking only what you need and sharing the rest and encourages people to read more.
