Object Of The Week Contest #37 - The German Corner

Welcome everyone. Long live Ukraine!! This contest is the Object of the Week #37 hosted by @strecoza. Join us in this exciting challenge. Read about this here. You are all invited.

The Object of the week is:

TREE

In January of 2021, my daughter visited Koblenz in Germany. One of the famous tourist spots in that place is the Deutsches Eck meaning the German Corner. It is a triangular platform between two rivers, the Mosel and the Rhein (some spell it Rhine). The tip of the triangle is where the two rivers meet. The trees are part of the walk along both rivers. These trees are matured Beech trees. It was winter then, so the trees were bare and had no leaves.

I just thought the winter trees are just as beautiful and stunning as with their leaves on. It has some eerie characteristic that compels one to look at them hypnotically.

The German Corner is actually a park where residents and tourists can spend the day, taking boat rides, riding cable cars across the Rhein River over the mountains across the park, or just have a friendly talk with friends along the many benches all over the place. This was my daughter's first winter experience and it really was so awesome. It was also during the height of the pandemic which explains why there was not much people around.

And that's all for this post. I hope you liked it. Good luck to all the participants. Keep safe everyone and may peace be with you all especially with Ukraine. God bless you always 🙏🙏🙏
