My daughter is an artist. Her favorite media are watercolor and colored pencils. Not much on oil and acrylics as these media she still needs to study more. And the Object Of The Week is just very timely because I can show you my daughter's colored pencil set which she uses to paint her art.

One can clearly see that these colored pencils are being used, and used extensively at that. If you look closely at the different colors, there are some that are used more than the others. Especially the colors black, brown and red. Photo below shows the case of the colored pencils.

And to give you a sample of one of her recent works, photo below shows my daughter's painting of a fox using these same colored pencils that I showed above.

I have been encouraging my daughter to submit an entry to @strecoza's contest Heading Handmade but she is very busy doing her paintings and running her new business of pearl rosaries and beaded bracelets and necklaces, which are all perfect topics for the Heading Handmade. Perhaps sometime in the future.
