Este tema, como la mayoría posee un riff de bajo, que es conocido mundialmente, por su estilo, además de estar ejecutado por uno de los bajistas más icónicos y controversiales de la música y estamos hablando también de “Flea” bajista de esta banda, con una técnica y destreza impecable, tocar las líneas de bajo de este increíble bajista no es para principiantes, digamos que está ya en un nivel avanzado ya que mezcla velocidad con armonías bastante complejas. Flea, tiene diversos bajos y le da a cada tema una identidad sonora, como por ejemplo: hay temas donde usa mucho Delay, distorcion, chorus y otros solo compresión con una buena ecualización. En “californication” flea, mantiene un sonido muy limpio con un tono medio y una ligera compresión, manteniendo el sonido natural de su Fender.
