Assalamualaikum steemitians how are you all as the eid has ended i thought to share with you all that how was my eid and what i did on 3 days.

Alot of people are so excited for eid as it is God's gift and we get to eat yummy food , we get eidi , we go out and have dawats all around so this apart from.a normal routine that we follow everyday.

CHAAND RAAT.

Whenever we talk about meethi eid / Eid-ul-fitr/choti eid , it always starts from chaand raat that is night before eid . As we do our last aftari and moon is sighted immediately we start preparations and the whole house gets upside down , new curtains , new bedsheets , proper cleaning all these have to be done , the boys usually go out to get their hair done and bring the things required for next day be it sweets or the things to make sheer khurma.

For girls mehndi is very important so we immediately go to salons and get our mehndi done once the household chores are completed. So i also did all the work with my mother and went to get henna and came back at 1.am then waited for it to get dry so that i can sleep as we wake up in fajar and then sleeps back in afternoon . Here chaand raat ends.

EID DAY 1.

As we woke up at 5.30am , after fajar we started cleaning house again as wind was blowing and dust came again .. meanwhile my father brother prepared to go for eid namaz. As they go for eid namaz we quickly finish the work , make breakfast and start getting ready.

Afterwards , we have to go to all aunt's (phoppos) house as it has kinda became a tradition for us because we have been doing this for years and they always wait for us. Best part of going to their house is yummy sheer and chaat plus eidi and in last we have lunch at one phoppo's house who always makes delicious biryani and kheer 😋. Couldn't take pictures as was busy eating 😂.

Then we came back and took nap for a while . After maghrib my khala comes at our house so we waited for her and as she came we sat together had kheer and chaat again🤭. And all cousins made plan to have dinner out .

We decided to go Al-habib restaurant do darya, and we all started getting ready . As it was so hot i decided to wear lawn dress instead of the one i wore in morning . We got late as usual and we finally left at 10.pm and reached there at 11.pm . Luckily we got the table though it was crowded everywhere.

The ambiance was so good as we got the view of sea from there and we ordered food. I ordered Moroccan chicken steak , some got chinese and others went for grill chicken burger and sandwiches. Everything was good but i didn't like my steak much as it was so spicy that i wasn't able to finish it ☹️.

Anyways as we had dinner it was 12.30 already and we got calls from our mothers to come back as it was quite late and my khala has to go back aswell so we quickly finished food and reached home. It was tiring but an amazing day . Here ends day 1.

DAY 2 AND 3 .

As it got late at night and we slept late so next day morning was late too. We were so tired that we cancelled our movie plan that day as well and spent 2nd day at home only and took rest.

3rd day we had dawat at our place and also a small engagement function of my cousin , so since we woke up we were busy doing work , cleaning, ironing the clothes etc. And being a host is difficult to take pictures so i couldn't.

But it was a memorable day , a family day after years we enjoyed alot . With this we wrapped up our this years eid .
