I met Mr. Red Panda in Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park at Darjeeling.

Mr. Red Panda is known as Ailurus fulgens to zoologist. He is furry - blackish fur under his belly part of his body and reddish-brown fur over his upper back part of his body. He has a big furry tail over his body.

In India they are usually found in Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh in India. In addition to India, Red Panda's are also found in Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, China and Myanmar.

Mr. Red Panda's favorite food is bamboo. They eat bamboo leaves and shoots. However, Mr. Red Panda are unable to digest cellulose and so they had to eat almost the entire day.
