As i tell you in my introduction post that i am a student of BS-Microbiolgy and i study in Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan. So today i tell you about my university life and how my university look like and the background history of my university. So let's start 👩‍⚕️

Multan has always remained a centre of excellence in education.Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya (1172-1262 A.D.), a Muslim religious scholar and saint, established a school of higher learning in the theology in Multan; where scholars fromm all over the world came for studies and research.Multan has maintained it's central position and centuries old cultural heritage and therefore suited ideally to become a centre of learning.Thus The University Of Multan was established in 1975 by an act of legislative Assembly.To pay homage to the great saint, the was changed from University Of Multan to Bahaudin Zakariya university in 1979.

The University is located at a distance of 10km from the city centre. The main campus is in Multan and spread over 960acres of land.

The university has a fleet of 45 buses and 3 coaches which provides transport facilities to students and staff.

The university started functioning in 1975 in rented building with 8 departments.Presenlt, it has more than 51 departments/institutes/colleges. Out of its 630 faculty members ,389 hold doctoral degrees and among its around 35,000 students half are females.

The University offers a wide range of programs: M.A., MSC., MBA., M.Com, MCS,. M.Phil and Ph.D, ... in recent years. The university has taken a lead introducing 4-year Undergraduate programme in science, Commerce, Buisness, Pharmacy, Engineering, and English literature and linguistics . I share some of the departments picture is given below

This is my department in which i study and there was so much greenery around my department different types of flowers ,plantas and trees were grown here.

This is the central library and the largest library of our university. Every kind of study related books and different types of knowledge books were present here i ofen go there sometimes to study books as i a book lover person😍.

This is the main and largest auditorium of the university which is JINNAH AUDITORIUM various speach competition and different types of seminars will conduct here and it was so large and the anterior of building is vey beautiful. I share some pics you can see now

This is the main mosque of the university although there were separate mosques with every department but it was the largest mosque of the university .so that students and faculty staff both can offer their prayers in mosque.As the religious of pakistan was Islam so it was a part of Muslim religious they offer prayers five times a day.
In pakistan there were mosques everywhere also in institute colleges and universities .

There was wo much greenery in our university different types of plants were grown here and the ground look beautiful with grass carpet on it.

As a dgree awarding government university, it offers degree course in more than 60 major fields, including biochemistry, pharmacy, engineering, humanities, business school, law,art,music, IT ,agriculture and languages.
The university is widely known as an institution of strong performance and high ambition because it has continued to make excellent progress towards its goals.

According to newly published 2016-2017, Times Higher Education (THE) ranking system, Bahauddin Zakariya is ranked within Top 800 highly ranked universities worldwide.
In 2019, the university was also ranked 8th nationally by General University Category of Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).

The main objective of university is to provide facilities of Higher education and research to the population of the southern region of the Punjab.
