I hope you all are doing well in your lives. Here i am going to participate in the Contest of week-19 that is making an Advertisement Post for the steemit. So let's start.

History Of Steemit

Steemit is the first platform which is based on blockchain technology. It was founded on 14 July 2016 by Ned Scott. In 2016, the steemit got hacked and the attackers stole the SBD and steem which worth more than 80000$. Steemit faced alot lose and some hgih posted personalities left the company. Later on in 2019 , a structural change in the managing team of steemit platform was announced.

What is Steemit

First of all let me tell you what the steemit actually is. Its a social media website where the user post the content and show their creativity. The users are free to post according to their own taste, can vote other's content and comment too. It's a big source of knowledge of every type. The users are rewarded on this platform according to the Quality of their content. The chance of getting reward will be high if you are more active on this platform. Its decentralized platform which mean that users have more power. This platform is based on blockchain and the crypto currency which is used here is STEEM. The users get reward in STEEM. Experience on Steemit

A few weeks ago, i never heard about the steemit. I loved writing and blogging but there was not any platform where i could show my skill. I didn't have any experience of block chain or crypto currencies. Then i came to know about the blockchain based platform which changed my life so quickly. I have joined the steemit platform a few weeks ago but i can say that i have learnt alot about blockchain technology, crypto currencies from this platform.

I have learnt how to invest in crypto currency and much more. It easy to use and user friendly. I think everyone should start working on it as it's lockdown and there is nothing to do, even institutes are closed and we are just wasting our time rather than learning something new. It's a sort of platform where you can earn and learn simultaneously. Here are different communities like: @SteemFood, @steemit-pak, @Writing & Reviews nd many others. You can join any community according to your own taste and start working over there. It has many other benefits which you will get to know when you start this.

Communities

We can say that this platform is divided into several communities. You need to participate in community of your interest and post there. The new member are always welcomed by the senior member of each community. every community have some certain task which the new comer need to fulfil. Once you complete those task, you can then post other contents according to your own taste by following some rules and regulations set by the senior member of communities.

Steemit is Transparent

Steemit is such a decentralized platform which is open to all. Everyone can see the activities of every other users. All transactions, your posts, notifications, inshort everything is visible to other except password. They can only read your posts and see your activities on this platform. They cannot make any change.
