Culture of Bangladesh refers to the literature, music, dance, food, dress, festivals, etc. The culture of Bangladesh is deeply connected with the culture of the Bengal region. Bangladesh is a river main country. There are 230 small and big rivers in Bangladesh. And in these rivers the boat race is associated with a traditional culture of Bengal. Boating has been a part of Bengal's tradition since time immemorial. At one time communication in this country was river centered and transportation was by boat. Here various industrial centers were formed centering on the naval industry. Skilled and experienced artisans have been made in these industries for ages. Thus began the competition between the different ships. In the course of time, the game started by the people of Mesopotamia also came to our country. Boating begins.

This boat race started when the river was flooded during the rainy season. Bangladesh has many rivers but now there is not much water in these rivers. From children and teenagers to the elderly, everyone rushes to see the boating with interest. The enchanting scene that unfolds in the river-water, with the rhythmic oars of the beards, in the rhythm of the music, is unparalleled. The laborers who go in the farmer's boat are called 'Baicha'. On the day of boating, the food of the boats is arranged from the morning. They ate and went to Baiche after the monochromatic dress given by the farmer. The boat sails to the beat of Tikara and Kashi. This was the usual practice of boating. But during the British rule, the feudal zamindars got involved in the culture of Baich. They hold the shield-road in their hands and ask them to win by any means. Even if a boat of a zamindar was splashed with the water of another boat, kaiza would start.

In addition, all the songs used in the boat have lively religious and regional melodies. There is a wonderful use of the word folk. The use of those lively sounds and melodies is no longer heard in Haor-Nadi, Beel-Baore. Boating, one of the traditions of the folk culture of the abominable Bengal, is tired today after crossing various obstacles. Boating is one of the main sources of entertainment for hardworking people. Boating is a game of hard work, sweat, excitement, joy and excitement of hardworking people. There is a saying, 'Thirteen baich in twelve months'. Like other parts of the country, amateur wrestlers used to take part in the boat race by singing sarigan in the lower region. This sarigan provides the exercise of rowing the boat and the stimulus of boating. Victory or defeat depended on the boatmen. But today the rowing competition is closed due to day by day, it is going.

Culture is something that is not alone. There are many more associated with it. Unstable rise and fall of capital, change of occupations of working people, drying up of rivers, canals, beels, all of them survive side by side with culture and tradition. In such a situation, it is difficult for tradition and culture to survive. It is necessary to change this stagnation.
