Frustration (Anger) || Ways to Control Frustration

Today in this post I am going to share my research on a very important and most common feeling , which we can find in many people around us . which is called Anger / Frustration.

By reading this we can understand what it could be. But first you must have felt that because psychology means that you feel something in some way but do not recognize what period you are going through.

So sometimes you may have noticed that when you can't do something or you can't achieve a goal, what do you call the feeling that is going on in your mind or How your body reacts to this condition.you should know that,

We will know that the stress or feelings that occur in this condition are called frustration.

So the today's topic is frustration.

What is frustration?
What are the characteristics of frustration?
what are the causes of frustration?
Types of frustration ?
How to control your frustration?

First we would see that the word frustration is a type of feeling it comes when we fail to achieve a goal.

A feeling of anger becouse you can't get what you want .
Word frustration is derived from a Latin word Frusta( obstruct)

It is a blocking of behaviour towards a goal
It means emotional tension resulting from blocking of desire or need .

Now the main thing we should know is the process how to identify the feeling of frustration .
Becouse if we how it happens then we can control it too.

Here are some major characteristics of frustration
• Always upleasent
• Always creates tension or stress
• Stage or condition in which failure dominate the attempt
• Ones experience a major obstaticle in the satisfaction of basic need or goal
• Strength of the blockade increase the degree of frustration
• It lies on the both in the individual himself and his environment.

Causes , Factors and source of Frustration .

If we talk about the causes of frustration so there are two common factors of frustration

• External Factors
• Internal / personal Factors

External Factors

There are 3 types of external factors

Physical : Natural, climatics

obstaticle, uncontrolled situations
For example - Contagious , covid 19

Social : Conflicts with others

customs , traditions, restrictions , taboos , laws , codes etc

Economic : Financial Problems

Internal / Personal Factors

• Physical abnormility- conflict of Motives
• High Ideals -High Level Of Aspiration

Ways to Control Frustration

• Direct Approach => increas Trials Or Change Goal
• Restlessness =>Variation Attack Fail & goals are unavailable then feel reslesness and tension behaviour
• Apathy: Lack of Interest
• Fantasy : if goal unreachable then seek the solution of escape into a dream world rather than the reality.
• stereotypes : Repetitive , Fix Behaviours
• Regression : Return to more primative mode of Behaviour.
