Steemit Weekly Contest "Historical Event" / The Industrial Revolution

Hello everybody!!
This is my participation in Steemit Weekly Contest. On this occasion with the theme "Historical Event" organized by @ papi.mati.
The story shows the evolution of humanity. He is a witness of all the events that occurred at all levels. Social, economic, health, religious, among others. That is why, that knowing it is to know the trajectory of all in the world.
The Industrial Revolution
Its start was in England and expanded in Europe, the United States and Japan. During the years 1760 and 1840.
The great inventions and technological advances achieved through the industrial revolution, the spinning machine, the steam machine, the railroad, the telegraph, the typewriter.
To others of the use of new raw materials, such as steel and the use of energy sources other than coal, electricity and steam.
They brought great changes in the industry, in agriculture, in the application of science, transport and communication, as well as, in the organization of workers.
Something very important for the population:
The installation of gas lamps on the streets revolutionized the cities, which became safer places to travel when they were enlightened at schedules where there was no sunlight. At the end of the period of the Industrial Revolution, the cities had been transformed and the populations had doubled or tripled. Fuente
But it also had negative consequences, especially in the environment. As the generation and atmospheric pollutants from the use of stoves and everything that implied coal involved in air quality, as well as the increase in waste generation.
And something unfortunate, gave way to the abuse of workers, with strenuous work days and little pay.
However, this historical event triggered the progress of humanity.

Thank you for your entry. Without industrial revolution we wouldn't have modern world and it was surely a right step for the world. We need to make another step urgently though and move forward to more green, eco-friendly and humanitarian future where people work less, but equally efficient thanks to modern technologies, their rights are fully respected and the nature remains protected for the sake of another species as well as for our own good.

I fully agree with your assessment. Now urgent action is required to help counteract all the damage that has been done to the environment since the Industrial Revolution. With emphasis on the conscience of each citizen so that he learns to value our environment.

You are right, the industrial era unleashed a lot of damage to the environment that has wreaked havoc until today, however there are also improvements at the social and labor level after all those events!
