A Trip to Danzoo by @pixie.dust

Hello everyone!

Essa had a class presentation about different animals and birds and he was not able to explain much about them just by watching the pictures in his book. We decided to take him to a Zoo where he could learn more about animals by watching and observing them closely. We planned a visit to Danzoo which is located in Bahria town Karachi and is considered as one of the biggest Zoos of Pakistan. It's called Danzoo because it's a day and night zoo and hence this name is given to it.

This place is one of the best places for the kids because it offers knowledge as well as entertainment for them.

The entrance ticket for the adults was of Rs 450 and for the children above 4 years they charged Rs250. When we entered the Zoo, we were given an option to take a tour of the entire Zoo on a golf cart ride but we preferred to walk around because we wanted our kid to explore things and see all the animals from close.

There were benches along the path for visitors who wanted to take a rest after walking around inside the Zoo. Fast food cabins and restaurants were present too but the rates were much higher than the usual price.

This place has a wide variety of animals and most of them are exotic. We reached there a bit late and it was partially dark so the management was not allowing us to take pictures of the animals from the phone to avoid the flash light from irritating the animals. I managed to take few pictures.

Essa was super excited to see such a wide variety of animals and the best thing was that he could observe them so closely. He learned about different animals and tried to memorize their names as well. This trip helped him in school as well because he was able to give a very good presentation in his class after watching and observing them.
