The Diary Game | Bidding farewell to Ramadan - Earth day celebration and importance - Unexpected Iftar
There's a special kind of sadness that can be felt when this sacred month of blessings is about to end. The prayers, Iftar gatherings with family and friends and a constant effort to get closer to Allah SWT is what we Muslims miss the most.
I woke up feeling sad when I realized that just in a few days Ramadan is going to end and thought whether I made the most out of it this year or not? While I was thinking about all this I then remembered that I had to get a few things for my kids and myself for the Eid because the end of Ramadan means Eid approaching and that means never ending trips to the market.
I got ready and left for the Mall. Most of the people prefer going out for the shopping after Iftar because the weather feels pleasant but I belong to the other group of people who prefer going out during the day time because it's impossible to even move a bit after Iftar.
I got a few things for myself and my family and then left for home. On my way back I picked my son from his school. His school celebrated the Earth day and all the kids were dressed up in bright and fresh colours of Earth to celebrate this day.
They were given awareness about how to keep our earth safe and how to protect it. I was very happy when my son shared all of this with me. He also did a small presentation regarding the Earth day and shared it with me very excitingly.
We then came home and I offered prayers. My husband went out to run a few errands and I took a nap. It was 3 pm and I decided to wake up after an hour for the Iftar preps because my husband's friend was coming over with his wife who's a good friend of mine.
I heard my husband's voice who was back home and I suddenly jumped to check the time which was 6.30 pm and for a moment I panicked because I had not made anything for the Iftar.
The guests were home and they both laughed when we told them what had happened. We all then decided to not waste any further time and left for Iftar at some restaurant but unfortunately couldn't find any place because every place was booked already and had no space. We then picked our favorite food and did Iftar on the roadside in our car which was one of the memorable Iftars.
This was all from my day. I hope you liked reading about it. Let me know in comments if you've ever been in such a situation too. Until next time!!

All children look cute at the earth day celebration. It's a panic situation that you didn't cook anything for guests and time was over. After a hectic, it happens and you are blessed that guests didn't mind that you took them to a restaurant instead of iftar at home. :XD
I am impressed that there was the perfect light even on the roadside or car :p
Haha yes because they were the informal kind of guests who are more like our family friends and I don't have to be formal with them. I'm lucky that it was them and not anyone else.🤣
Thanks to my husband's perfect photography skills.😆
The picture you have made by cutting the children is very cute and the children in the picture look very cute and the pizza you ate is my favorite.
😊😊
