Hello there welcome to my blog once again. This is another engagement challenge and this time I'm writing in the Steemit Pakistan Community on the topic "Propose a new project on Steemit".
Here we talk about any project that we feel is needed on the Steemit platform.

Imagine Steemit with the ability to message other users and make calls on the platform
Hence I present to you an Instant Chatting Project
Instant Chat
An instant chat is an application on a social platform that is used to send messages in the form of texts, videos, audios, photos, stickers, and file between one or more parties. Advanced chat terminals can also allow users to make voice and video calls.
Features that the instant chat should have
It should be designed with business in mind. It should be a software that includes messaging, scheduling and management tools.
It should have features which takes care of your workflow on Steemit and allows you to create channels or groups of contacts dedicated to special tasks and discussions.
It should be able to save your chat history, through this you can search through old messages, channels, and files.
Security and privacy should be the topmost thinking so as to effect instant messaging using a client to server encryption. In addition, self-destructive messages can also be set up by users.
Benefits of instant chat
1. Chat with other users.
As it stands the only way you can contact a user is by replying their published posts. After that it ends there. You can't do nothing else.
But there could be something you learned or wanted to inquire from the author of the post, but you can't do it because you can't directly connect with the person. This is a real issue.
2. It is easier and faster.
In continuation of the point above. When a user feel like connecting with the author of a post he can easily connect with the person by sending a message. Mind you this is very different from replying a post. You reply a post based on your engagement to the contents found in that post.
But if the content of the post really touched you and you want to go on to connect with the author, then a chat would be best for this.
3. It brings about privacy.
The way in which we relate with one another on Steemit is generally in the open. It is a good thing. However, it is not everything that needs the public eyes or be seen publicly.
With the use of chats things can become private. A user can privately communicate with another user based on a post, or perhaps for the sake of connecting. After all Steemit is a social platform.
4. It fosters connection.
As I have just mentioned and we are aware that Steemit is a social platform that run on the STEEM blockchain. That said, I believe most of the users are not connected deeply enough.
We need an environment that allows for quick connectivity amongst members. Looking at most social platforms out there, one common theme is a chat feature that allows uses to message themselves.
5. It fosters collaboration.
Because of the features inherent in chats such as texts, videos, calls, etc. Users can work hand in hand to achieve a common goal easily and quickly.
For instance, admins of communities can collaborate with each other and decide on things and pass on information which should be used for execution.
I really like this feature of yours and I really think that Instant Chat would be a good thing if you can talk about this new project.
of course live chat would be one of the best ways to communicate. They should take into account each project and take the best ones for the benefit of the platform and prepare for the great interaction to come.

This is a cool project that you have mentioned. I think having an instant Cha would go a long way in helping with the communication among Steemians especially on the platform, rather than depending on outside software.
This would go a long way in bringing investors and retaining new users.
