Propose A New Steemit Project
The project that I'm proposing is to create a Market Place amongst users.
A marketplace is an open square or place in a town where markets or public sales are held - Merriam-Webster Dictionary.
From the definition above we can see that the Steemit platform has the potential to be a marketplace. It is an open place and can be able to organize markets and public sales of goods and services.
This concept can also be taken from other traditional social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. On these platforms, there are millions upon millions of people on there and so it became apparent that it is a faster way to reach out to several people to whom you can provide goods or services that are greatly needed.
It is common knowledge that as humans we are not perfect. This imperfection causes a lot of shortcomings and the only way to bridge this gap is by providing goods and services. This means that as humans we all have wants and needs and we can't do everything ourselves so there are people who can produce what we want or need and, in turn, we pay them.
How Does This Relate to Steemit?
As we are well aware, the Steemit platform is a social platform where users engage themselves in the form of writing and get paid. As you can see, it is a social platform like Facebook, et all. That means there are a lot of users on the platform who engage themselves on the platform.
Each of these users can have wants and need that other users on the platform can fulfill. For instance, if user A needs a new pair of suits to attend a wedding, he can come to the Steemit platform to check for someone who is selling suits, when he finds one they communicate with each other and they part ways with their trade. The sweetest part is that you can pay in STEEM or SBD.
So rather than going out of the Steemit platform to source for things, you can always come on Steemit and be sure to get something and pay in STEEM.
This means that the Steemit team can create an ads section where users can interact to display their ads to gain visibility and interest for those who are interested in the ads.
In this way, users can invest in the platform as they would be required to pay for them to create their ads. This can also bring in investors from outside Steem as they would want to sell their market, therefore, they would have to acquire STEEM which would enable them to invest on the platform in the form of advertisement.
Benefits of a marketplace
It fosters more connections among members of the Steemit platform. Users wouldn't have to worry about looking for things they need elsewhere when they know someone selling them here.
It brings more investors to the platform. As investors see the need to market their products and services, it would attract them to be a participant in the Steemit platform.
This would in turn boost the popularity of the Steemit platform. More and more people would become aware of this feature on the platform and would like to know how they can harness it to their benefit.

Setting up a market place here on Steemit will definitely give rise to interactions between users. I have seen couple of more participation posts putting forward a similar idea. Somebody suggested about introducing a "Shopping Game" in which people will post about their shopping hauls and places they bought it from, also sharing their bills so that one could know if its afordable for them. Your idea is pretty impressive, to be honest. This way we can boost up import & export as well. And the level of good interaction between users will also lead to fruitful growth.

Like another site can be incorporated to this one where people registered on steemit get to showcase their business in actual and steem price and also the shipping fee. I'm sure this will go a long way to increase the exchange of the steem token
Yeah, it could be like this too although I have other ideas in mind I agree alot with your, an incorporated site whereby goods are listed with their waybill prices.

Last year, users actually started trading goods on STEEMIT. With the arrival of clubs, all such activities were stopped. I also wish that businesses could make their way again on STEEMIT and co-exist with clubs.
