MY COUNTRY : BANGLADESH

This wonderful country of ours is Bangladesh. It is not only the country, it is our motherland. Field after field, there are innumerable rivers flowing, green and small trees all around, people of different religions, people of different professions live together in this small country. Seeing this amazing scene fills the mind. This country seems to be a more beautiful place than heaven according to me. The area of the country is only 148,460 km².

Chakma, Garo, Tripura, Murang, Tongchanga, and more ethnic groups dwell in this diverse country. Each has its own dialect and cultural variety. Bangladesh is a significant agricultural nation. Agriculture affects everyone, whether directly or indirectly. The country's principal cash crops are jute, tea, and tobacco. Although the country is small, it is home to a vast population.

The educated population is one of a country's resources, yet in Bangladesh, more than half of the population is uneducated. But the happy thing is that the rate of education in the country is increasing day by day. Bangladesh is a very beautiful country. There are rivers as well as tourist attractions. There are many historical places. Mahasthangarh, Mainamati, Paharpur etc. are notable. Cox's Bazar is world-famous as a place of world heritaages. Millions of locals and foreigners visit here every year. This small country has a long history. At present the country is independent but once the country was not independent.

Finally, with the inspiration of Bangabandhu, Bengalis gained independence through war. So we celebrate March 26 as Independence Day and December 16 as Victory Day. We are the only ones fighting for our language. That is why 21st February is celebrated today as International Mother Language Day. I am fortunate and also feel proudto have been born in this country.

What I love about my county Bangladesh

1. The Natural Beauty of Bangladesh: Bangladesh is a treasure trove of nature. Natural beauty is not found in any other country in the globe, according to this country. Sujlasafala, the grain-green natural beauty of this country quenches the thirst of our eyes and minds. The noture of this counttry is different inn the six seasons that comes altarnately.

The beauty of rural Bengal is the real beauty of this country. This is our Bangladesh, which has over 6,000 villages. As a result of the army harvest in the fields of this country. Rows of mango-jackfruit palm-coconut betel palm trees in the villages. As if the beauty market is sitting in the countryside. Wherever the eye goes, there is only the celebration of endless green. It is as if the diverse nature is calling for a handshake to blend in with its beauty. Shave of the green tree and the huts of the shady countryside seem to embrace everyone with a cool kiss. The shepherds graze in the fields and the melody of the drunken flute fills the boring afternoon.

Somewhere on the sidewalk, the bamboo bushes are bent in a disobedient manner. Diverse trees can be seen in the field. In the black of the still abyss, the water and the blue of the sky are like a fair of friendship. As an ascetic, Jhari Nama Battala is like a shelter of dependence.

Rivers have given our country's natural splendor a new depth. In the midst of greenery, the river Rupali continues to flow with the melody of water waves. Padma, Meghna, Jamuna, Surma, Madhumati, Dhaleshwari, Ichhamati, Karnafuli, and Buriganga are the names of the rivers Padma, Meghna, Jamuna, Surma, Madhumati, Dhaleshwari, Ichhamati, Karnafuli, and Buriganga. In addition, Bangladesh is home to the Madhur River. This country's people have a strong bond with the river. The river is linked to the people's lives and livelihoods in this country. Despite the differences between hard and soft rivers, the running river is a boon to agricultural Bengal.

Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh has the longest beach in the world with a length of 120 km. Patuakhali district has Kuakata beach. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise and sunset. Thousands of visitors flock here every day to enjoy the beauty of these beaches. Even countless tourists from all over the world come to see these beaches every year. The indescribable beauty of the sea beach catches everyone's eye.

2. Diversity of Culture: The culture of Bangladesh is very old and full of aesthetics. Culture carries the identity of a country and an entire nation. Culture is the customs, beliefs, art and way of life of a particular country or nation. The culture of a society is formed by the behavior of the people living in it. Language, music, ideas about good and evil, methods and sports and equipment, and other things are all part of the culture of the society. Each society is rich in its own culture. As a nation, Bengalis also have their own culture.

We have our own language, music, and social customs that shaped our culture. Our songs are based on a rural and simple and beautiful life. We have folk music and local travel. Our marriage system is based on religious and social rules. We celebrate the first Baishakh as New Year's Day. We have rice and fish in our diet and we wear traditional clothes like a lungi, shirt, sari, and blouse. We play Hadudu, Gaellachut, Football, Dariabandha, Bauchi, Kanamachhi, and many more. The richer the culture of a nation, the more developed it is as a nation. Although we are rich in our own culture, at present it is a mixture of cultures of other countries especially neighboring India and western countries.

3. Bangladesi Food: We Bengalis have been fond of food since birth. Compared to all the famous food of the world, the amount of famous food in our favorite homeland is not less. In the minds of the people, 64 districts of Bangladesh have taken separate places for their own food. Many foods have also spread over the borders of respective districts in Bangladesh as a whole. Here I will talk about some special food.

  • Biryani: When we hear the name Biryani, we think of Hajir Biryani from old Dhaka. This famous biryani of old Dhaka has been serving them for almost a century. However, biryani is now a popular dish not only in old Dhaka but all over Bangladesh. Bundia palao, khasir biryani, white are popular among the old Dhaka palao biryani. Salted beef with pelao etc. In old Dhaka, there are still some old food establishments, such as Kazi Alauddin Raed's Hajir Biryani, Becharam Deuri's Nanna Biryani, and Chawkbazar's Shah Saheb's Pelao, etc. The smell of biryani and pulao is all around you when you go to old Dhaka, which will make you try it. You may have eaten a lot of biryani in your life but I promised to eat Hajir biryani once and you will never forget its taste.

  • Hilsa fish: Hilsa, the king of fish, is incomparable in taste and smell. Mustard Hilsa, steam Hilsa, and Hilsa Polao are also cooked. And Hilsa of Padma river is world-famous. Hilsa is exported in large quantities every year. However, the life of a person who has never eaten fried Hilsa at the Mawa ferry terminal is completely in vain.

  • Shrimp Malaikari: When the large cooked shrimp is placed on the plate, the eyes happily grow on their own. Again, if it is shrimp malaikari then it does not matter! Such love of shrimp with coconut cannot be lost without playing Malaikari. You can probably enjoy the taste of Malaikari made from shrimp and coconut at home but if you want to get the true taste of Malaikari you have to go to Sattkhira, Borisal, or the coastal diistricts.

  • Various Pitha: Pitha-puli covers a large part of the Bengali tradition. This tradition still survives in the villages. In winter, there is a buzz of eating pitha-puli in towns and villages, and a nationwide pitha festival begins. Pitha is on the list of food preferences of everyone, young and old. Different types of Pithass come in different shapes and flavors. In some places, the Pitha is sweet, but in some corners, the Pitha is sour. Some of the most popular and famous Pitha's are: Puli pitha, patisapta, panteya, kulshi, khejurer pitha, kheer kuli, galap ful pitha, oil pitha, semai pitha etc. Barguna's Chuia Pitha, Chaba Pitha, Muitta Pitha, Allan, Biscuit etc. also occupy the place in the food list of the foodies.

3 Changes I Would Love to See in Bangladesh

1. End of Corruption: We are apparently entangled in a spider's web. The more we want to get out, the more we get stuck. The country is like a paradise of corruption. For the sake of some people, a hardworking, efficient, and talented nation like Bangladesh cannot be destroyed. The country must be protected from these notorious black hands. Lack of good governance, justice, and accountability has turned thieves into robbers. However, the government has zero tolerance for corruption and has continued its efforts to curb corruption.

image.png

From the concerned to the senior members of the government, everyone's pockets are heavy. And since it is a debt, in the end, the burden of debt falls on the shoulders of the people. But now it has become known, so the game of denial, putting the responsibility on the shoulders of others, and pretending not to know will continue. There may be some investigations showing people. But the root of corruption will remain in the existing taboo. We want an end to this.

2. Unemployment: Bangladesh has the highest rate of educated unemployed. There are 48 unemployed graduates for every 100 graduates. On other words, one out of every two people is listed in the unemployment registry. After passing high school, young people are not as keen to study in colleges and universities as they are to pursue technical or vocational training. Second, very few people are seen to be entrepreneurs. Everyone expects a job, no one thinks about job creation. As a result, it is now common to wait a long time for a job after graduating from university.

image.png
Source

The government should play a strong role in creating skilled manpower and entrepreneurs by investing in the right place instead of setting up new institutions year after year. Characteristic and emotional in poor society; In order to improve knowledge and intellect, one has to take real education. The vision must be stretched. We have to expose ourselves to the vastness of the world without being confined within small boundaries. And Bangladesh will move forward if the youth are happy.

3. Political Instability: The political instability surrounding the elections has affected every development sector in the country. Especially in the existing investment sectors in the country, foreign investment is stopped. The scope of trade and commerce has shrunk. Foreign investment in commercial sectors is being stopped. Many do not dare to invest when there is political instability. The country is suffering economically. In order to overcome these problems, it is necessary to create a conducive environment for healthy elections in the country. The government has to come to an agreement through negotiations with every existing political party.

image.png
Source

The government should call for a discussion on the forthcoming elections after properly evaluating the opposition. The demands of each party must be taken into consideration. Elections under a party government are, of course, questionable. The government must give full independence to the Election Commission. We have peaceful elections, and healthy countries, I want an orderly government. No one wants to be a scapegoat for the power of political leaders. The volatile situation in the country is by no means desirable. We want to cast our vote for the candidate of our choice to be present at the polling station in safety. We do not want democracy to die here with the intervention of any ruling party.

How beautiful is the tree you see in the picture? As well as food. I really like all of this.

And almost every country has some common problems. There are political problems in your country too. As you have said, I wis that the current election problems in your country will be resolved soon.

And we can vote for anyone and any party we like. It is a basic human right. Governments should not interfere for it.

i hope that the problems may change soon

Everyone's country is truly a piece of heaven.

It is a beautiful place as I have seen and described from the photos. I saw the Buriganga river in the comments. The sandals caught my attention.

Unfortunately, these changes are the same in many countries. I hope a solution is found as soon as possible.

Good luck in the competition.

i also hope these changes may come soon
