Before i share with you my favorite festival let me tell you that right now im sitting in madina street after performing fajar prayer and waiting for eid ul fitr prayer time, 15 minutes left in prayer and i just open my steemit and saw the post of steemit Pakistan about second engagement contest which is about what is your favorite religious festival and how it celebrated in your country, i thought i should write this post now because i can explain my feelings about religious festival right now when I'm going to perform now.😊

Eid UL Fitr

Eid UL Fitr is a festival that muslims celebrate after the month of ramadan, muslims from the whole world continue thirty day fasting in the holy month of ramadan and eid ul fitr is blessed muslims by Allah Almighty and today is that day, muslims wear new clothes and went towards mosques to offer eid prayer.

Eid is the favorite religious festival of all agr groups, its preparation starts very early, people of all age buy new clothes, there's a great rush in markets everywhere of buyers, girls buy clothes matching shoes and jewelery.

The night before Eid UL Fitr is called chand raat, this is the last night so people rush toward markets, girls apply henna, little kids also wish to apply henna on their hands, i did not apply henna today because i was in travel from jeddah to Madina last night.

At the day of eid Muslim went to mosques and offer eid prayer, i also offer eid prayer now between writing my post, now im traveling towards my hotel and writing again, Muslim wish eid to each other after offering eid prayer, the gents goes to graveyard to read فاتحہ at the graves of their loved one, also they spread flowers on graves.

As they return back home first they eat something sweet like sheer khorma, kheer, sewaeyan, etc and also the sweet is distributed in the neighborhood then the celebration goes on till the end of the day, delicious foods are prepared by our women's at home, guests also visit to wish eid, At night they went for outing with their family and kids especially, i forget to tell about the eid of kids, little kids get eidi from their elders and feel glad to collect so much money as eidi, whole day they eat their favorite things with their friends.
