HELLO STEEMIAN'S I HOPE YOU ALL ARE FINE...AND I'M BACK AGAIN 😜
LETS BEGIN,
So debating was the skill which i inherited from my "siblings", in Montessori class i gave my first speech which was comprised of 3-4 lines, and then the cycle just continued throughout my academie career.
The journey was rocky because many times i got rejected to participate in debate competitions due to lack of quality content, lapses in memorizing long debates, expression deficits, paper reading and much more. Moreover, many times I just forgot the text on stage and got embarrassed in front of many.
Well long story short, I want to share a very special moment from the flashbacks of my student life with you guys, used to participate in every debate competition in school as well as interschools.
I remember clearly I was in class 7, our principal announced in the assembly about an event going to happen in a nearby school in which the best debater of school is invited to compete with other schools, interested students can contact the class teacher.
Fast forward I was the selected one among 7 or 8 students from my school, I was practicing well, my teachers were working hard with me and grooming my skills.
On the day, I along with some students and teachers went to the competition. I was all set, practicing my speech, my body language, my tone, everything was just perfect, My teachers and fellows were completely satisfied with my performance and so was i. I was all excited waiting for my turn and then finally my name was called.
I remember those steps full of confidence on the stairs of stage and the next moment I was close to the mic. I saw the crowd, almost 500 people but I was not nervous at all since I have faced such crowds many times.
I started my speech as I have practiced, raising my tone slowly, grabbing the audience and guess what, in the very next moment I was blank, I was completely blank as my mind was not present at all.
My all confidence shattered in pieces, I hold the mic with my both hands and close my eyes, I didn't want to face the crowd, I had no courage to eye contact with my teachers, I started listening some laughters and murmuring from audience and I was about to burst in tears, suddenly I heard a voice from another mic "COME ON GIRL, TAKE A DEEP BREATH, COMPOSE YOURSELF, YOU CAN DO IT" and after that heard the applaud from the crowd as they are motivating me.
AH, I can't express in words. This was the magical moment for me, when out of nowhere I started my speech again and this time, no mistake. I finished it successfully without any pause. Those words, when everything around me was completely quiet was like a magic which turned me from a scared and frightened little girl who was on the verge of giving up to a confident, fearless warrior who knows nothing but to win.
I got a special prize in that competition and lots and lots of appreciation from judges. That was the start, I won many competitions after that till University level.
I am sure you are now curious to know who said those words, well he was the gentleman who was the host of the program, in the end I went to thank him and he told me that
"He was also a debater but he lost his confidence after facing the exactly same situation as I was in that day. He said he doesn't want to lose one more debater, so he encouraged me like that in front of whole crowd."
It made my day with his magical words. I will remain thankful to him for my whole life for that beautiful act of kindness.
It was the day when i felt that I've achieved something great.
My friends, audience, teachers and other competitors clapped for me and were so happy for me which made me even more happier. This picture was taken at the same day when i was at the stage 🙂
Yes these are my achievements of school life! Every year I got at least 2 trophies, one for securing first position and other for either full attendance or having the highest percentage in primary or secondary sections
Just one shield in the front row is of my university(Karachi university) which I got for coming 2nd in a speech competition, all others are from school life 😊
Thankyou for reading my long story post.

Thankyou for being so kind. 😍🙏
Greetings from INDIA,
I dont know which standard you are in, but the sentence structure in this post has really impressed me and it does elicit that you must have been a good debator and orator too.
I can feel like the on-chain charisma is inspiring many including me when I go through your post.
You have all the potential to be in the celebrityhood of authorship in Steem Blockchain.
That said, I would suggest you fix the proofreading issues, and apply markdown styling a bit to make it more appealing. And break the long paragraph into shorter ones.
Thank you.
Thankyou for this. We already got in touch with her over this performance and soon she will be improving.
Truly speaking, your words made my day. The way you appreciate me I would like to say thanks for your kind support. I love to see @bestofindia liked my post too. Thank you once again for your guidance I am still learning 😃
