Hello everyone. Hope we're doing great. I myself, I'm doing great as well. I'm really excited to participate in this contest. My sincere appreciation goes to @vvarishayy for organizing such a wonderful contest which is about kindness because as humans it's very necessary and important to be kind to our fellow humans. So sit tight as you read through how I a perform an act of kindness in my little ability.
My Acts kindness
Before I go into the contest proper, I'll like to start a little by pointing out what kindness is.
Kindness to me is the act of helping out. It could be in any aspect, financially an otherwise. It's not until it's financial before it's called kindness. It can be in any form. Kindness is understanding that someone is in need and our ability not neglect giving our help out.
Just few days ago, as I boarded a tricycle to school, in a tricycle, the back Seat always contain three people while one person will be in the front so the back was occupied but while we were going, a mother with her baby stopped the tricycle to enter, she was really in a hurry as the picture was really Clear for anyone to see but the problem was, she couldn't sit in the front with her baby. Many people don't like the front seat even me but I had to leave my space at the back for her to use the front seat. She was really excited and thank me over and over again. To me I saw that as an act of kindness I rendered to her.
Again, few weeks ago, a fellow Steemian was having some health challenges, he couldn't come out again for Promotion and it was really affecting me. So one day, after my class, I boarded a taxi to his place.
On getting to his place, I realized he was already with his t-shirt ready for Promotion but couldn't go out. We discussed, joked, took pictures and played and I realized my presence was a little bit of a relief to him. He was really excited and it was as if the sickness just disappeared, I spent some hours with him before I now went home
Another act of my kindness is with my aunt. She's pregnant and can barely do anything again by herself. Things like sweeping the floor and going to the market because she can't really bend again
So sometimes, even with my tight schedules, I do create time to go help her out with some of the works. I'll help her in the market, sweep and mop the floor, wash her clothes and do the things which I see she can't do. She's always really excited and I'm always happy too that I could be of a help.
Lastly, I have a friend and a colleague who lost his death to the cold hands of death some months ago, because of this, she's always sad, locking herself in the house and crying. When I got to know about this, I started visiting her frequently. Sometimes I'll buy some fruits for her, sometimes I'll go with food and she's always very excited.
We'll discuss, I'll try to encourage her and present a brighter future to her. She'll be very happy and even some days if I can't visit her, I'll try to call her to know how she's fairing.
In Conclusion, I'll say that showing kindness to people it's not until we have money, sometimes we can perform a little act which will be of a very positive impact to the person involved and as long as we're humans, we need to be showing kindness to our fellow humans.
