Assalamualikum Everyone
This is me @cocomuff. How are you all? I hope everyone is doing great. A very Happy Eid to all the Muslims around the world. I hope your Eid days are going great. Today I am here to take part in the contest #steemit-Engagement-challeneg. Today I'll share my favorite culture of my country. That is Eid-ul-Fitar.
The goal of happiness and pleasure is a characteristic of human behavior. Man has been searching for happiness from the very opening. Some happiness are individual in which only the individual and a few persons belonging to him share and some joys are collective in which people belonging to a religion or region as a nation share. The days of such celebrations in which the members of a nation collectively participate and accept them religiously and culturally are evaluated as the festivals of that nation. The chapters of history are not without mention of such festivals of ancient nations.
Islam is a religion of nature and a complete code of life and is liable for the development and welfare of both the individual and the society. It has improved the nation of Islam with two festivals. One of these festivals is called Eid-ul-Fitr and the other is called Eid-ul-Adha.
EID-UL-FITAR
Eid-ul-Fitr is a religious festival of the people of Islam. It is called Eid because it retreats every year and comes back again and again. Yes, fasting ends from this day, so this festival has been named as Eid-ul-Fitr.
Eid is my one of my favorite festivals. There are so many things that we do on Eid. Let's talk about them.
CHAND RAAT
When the blessed month of Ramadan ends, that is, thirty days of fasting are completed. And from the time the moon of Shawwal appears, Eid begins. The night before the Eid when the moon of Shawwal appears is called the CHAAND RAAT.

On this night all the women and girls apply henna on their hands. As shown in the pictures. I love to apply henna. This is one of my favorite thing to do on Eid.
EID PRAYER
On the day of Eid, get up early in the morning and get ready that the men and boys of the house go to the mosques to offer Eid prayers. Eid prayers are offered in the mosques and prayers are also offered for the development and security of the country and the nation. After that all the people hugged each other and said Eid Mubarak.
VARIETY OF MEAL
On the day of Eid, different kinds of food are cooked in every house. In which the first becomes sweet dishes like sawaiyan , kheer , custard amd many more. That is why this Eid is also called sweet Eid. And then the biryani Is a compulsory item.

GETTING READY FOR EID
Everyone has made special preparations for the day of Eid. Everyone makes a special kind of dress for the day of Eid which is worn on the day of Eid. The preparation of the girls is visible on this occasion. Matching shoes, matching jewelry, and much more.
VISIT RELATIVE PLACE
The happy occasion of Eid is doubled when you meet your loved ones. On this day everyone goes home to see each other. And congratulates Eid. Various invitations are arranged. Gifts are given and received. And some people even plan to go for a tour on Eid days.
EIDI
The most interesting part of Eid is eidi. On the day of Eid, all the little ones get Eidi from all their elders. And it is given in the form of cash. I also received Eidi from my father and brother-in-law.
So for all these reasons EID is my favorite festival. And this is how we Muslims celebrate our Eid. That's all from my side. Hope everyone likes it.

My favorite festival 🤩 Food , eidi , getting ready , going out everything is just so good and we enjoy alot.
I also go to my relatives house have alot of food and also receive eidi 😀.then we invite everyone at our home next day ..

Variety of meal, getting dressed and visiting and hosting relatives are the favorite do's on Eid for me. We don't get eidi anymore :-(
