Eid is my one of favorite cultures too.
You have described very nicely.

Eid is all about dressing up, sheer khorma, recieving eidi, meeting friends and family, having dawats , greetings , blessings and much more.

Yes you are absolutely right. My favorite thing is dressing up and receiving Eidi.
