EID MUBARAK ♥️

All of this was extremely sudden and unexpected im sure everyone is aware about what happened last night😅.
Basically it was moon sighting day and it wasn't expected that Eid will be today.
Everyone was hoping Eid to be on Friday but nothing happens according to our expectations.

All of this started last night as we were waiting for the final announcements, we were called for a meeting by our very respectful country representative Haidermehdi for guidance and briefing about our works.
The session went perfectly fine and it was extremely beneficial as we got alot of tips and our basic mistakes were highlighted.
Hopefully that session will bring a clear change in our community.
As we got done with our session we were hoping that the final announcements would have been made but the moon sighting session was still going on and the final decision wasnt made..

Whole country was waiting for the announcement and after almost 1 hour it was announced that tomorrow is Eid.
Keeping in mind that it was around 12 at night and in early morning was Eid.
No one was prepared mentally nor the things were prepared but we had to prepare everything in a hurry.
Im sure everyone couldn't sleep at night because i couldn't as i had alot of work to do.
But thankfully every was settled and prepared.

MORNING

Morning of Eid is a whole different kind of vibe.
I woke up early but didn't had breakfast as it is sunnah to just eat a date before going for Eid prayers so the breakfast is supposed to be done after the prayers.
Firstly i prayed Fajr prayer and then prepared my clothes for Eid.
Then i took a bath and got ready.
Soon me and my brother went for Eid prayers.
It is covid situation but still Eid prayers is compulsory so everything was organized according to SOP's.
Soon we got done with the prayers but unlike rest of the years no one hugged each other following the SOP's.

We also met with our cousin their and took some pictures.
Eid is a festival of happiness and all the loved ones who are not with us anymore are missed so we went to graveyard at our grandparent's grave.

After that we went straight home.
We met Eid with our mother and she gave us Eidi which is a compulsory of this festival.

Then my brother left to pick my father from his job and we decided to do breakfast all together so we waited.
By the time we were waiting, alot of guests arrived at our house.
It is a tradition to visit everyone.
We served them food and sweets.
Then my father also arrived so we had breakfast and the breakfast was made by me.
After having breakfast i was free so i watched tv.
Then we received some more guests and with the guests came our Eidi.♥️

AFTERNOON

Then i helped my mother in making lunch.
Mostly my mother was doing all the work i was just accompanying her but then suddenly some guests arrived and i had to take over the kitchen.
Now was the time to test my cooking skills.
I did better than i expected from myself.
I even made roti which wasn't in a good shape but it was worth a try.
After spending some time with the guests it was time for our lunch.

I wasn't much hungry but ate some of it just to get nourished.
After lunch i was feeling extremely sleepy as I couldn't sleep properly last night so i took a short nap.
After waking up i used mobile and scrolled social media as i was getting bored.
Then me and my mother did some cleaning of the house and started to prepare things for dinner.
The reason we started preparing earlier was because my sisters were coming for dinner and it is the only thing of most excitement, meeting sisters and spending some time with whole family all together.

EVENING

It was finally the time when both of my sisters arrived at our home and we started to have fun.
First of all according to the tradition we took Eidi from both of our sisters then we took pictures and played with my niece.
It is her first Eid so it is very much exciting for us.
She can't feel the excitement yet but we were excited from her side.
Then i went to help my mother in kitchen but my sisters didn't let me do that so i just sat there and accompanied them.
When everything was prepared we had dinner together.
The dinner was extremely delicious and we had alot of fun having it

Eid is not only about getting Eidi and gifts or having good food.
It is basically the feeling which is more exciting.
As it is a gift for us so this day has a different vibe.
