My Participation in Steemit Engagement Challenge Week 2 || Share your Country's Culture || Independence Day || #club5050 @bushramalik
This is @bushramalik and today I'm here to take part in a Steemit Engagement Challenge Week 2 which is about the Share your Country's Culture organised by the @steemit-pak. This is an amazing contest through this we will come to know about the different culture of different counties as well as our own because there are thousands of culture.
There are many religious or cultural festival celebrated in Paksitan every year. A festival or cultural event is celebrated to create a sense of brotherhood, selflessness and sacrifice among the people of country. It also celebrated so that the people may leave their daily routine and enjoy their lives a little bit away from the routine. There are Eids, Religious festival, Resolution day etc etc. Celebrated in Paksitan every year.
Independence day of Pakistan is celebrated on 14 August. It is celebrated to commemorate the day when Pakistan gained Independence in 1947. Being an independent nation itself is a blessing of Allah Almighty. And We are an independent Nation. That's why we celebrate this event very enthusiastically every year. I also want to share the origin and how we get this Independence.
August 14, 1947 was a bright and glorious morning in history when we broke the chains of British slavery and enjoyed the blessings of freedom under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Great sacrifices were made. History is unable to give an example. Freedom is never given as a gift. For this we have to make sacrifices of life and property and we have to cross the sea of misery and hardship. Long struggles and countless sacrifices were made to gain this beautiful country. Quaid-e-Azam and many other leaders fought for this country and we sacrifices alot of our Muslims brother and sister in the name of this country. British rulers were not agreed to separate the continents. But thr Hard work of our Founder Made it possible and we Gain Pakistan on 14 August 1947 that's why every year we celebrate this event in a passionate way. We also remember the Sacrifice of Our Forefather for this country.
We celebrate this event with great devotion,love and passion. All around the country people decorate their houses, street with the small flags and also a large flag on the top of their houses. All the things become green as green is the main color of the flag which represents our country. We decorate our houses and street offices and school every sector in the start of August so that till 14 August all our country look green.

Actually the day starts at 12am when people wish each othet the independence day with great devotion. On the morning day start with the Force Parade. Many people gather at the ground to see the Parade. Not only this, we also get ready for this festival as well. Many new national songs realises on this day. And whole day whole social media fill with the messages of the Independence day. People pray for their country as much as they can. Huge cakes cutting celebration also occur on this occasion. Whole day we listen national songs every where. This thing increases our love towards our country.
As far as If I talk about todays generation I see two different kinda youngsters. One who are as passionate as we were, we are about the festivals and one who have zero interest in these kindaaa festivals or occasions. When I see small kids have the same passionate about these festival I feel so proud of them as well as on their parents beacuse they teach them to love their country.

I was a little confused whether we can count independence day as a festival or not but my brother haidermehdi clarified that to me that it is one of the festivals and we can write about that.
Having said that, you have chosen the perfect topic to write over this and a perfect time to do so. There will be people reading this post and knowing the efforts that our ancestors made to get this country.
The generation gap has effected many values and cultures but yes Alhamdulillah, this is the festival every kid celebrates and keeps passion regarding this. You have brought it into words quite well.

You're absolutely right there are 2 kinds of people nowadays, the ones who're passionate about celebrating the national events and others who're too busy or indifferent to care about such events.
There's so much patriotism in the air even when the month of August starts but somehow I feel like it's not like how it used to be before.

In school days the whole week before 14th August spent in preparation of the day. I loved taking part in it.
You have explained well. In independence day everyone is full of enthusiasm and the national songs makes a person keen to know about the history of Pakistan.
Our leaders did so much work and have lost a lot of things too. It's a blessing to be in an independent country. Alhumdulillah.
