guava
Guava is a highly nutritious fruit that offers many health benefits. Some of the key benefits are:
1.Rich in Vitamin C: Guava is a great source of Vitamin C, which boosts the immune system and is also good for the skin.
2.Loaded with Antioxidants: It contains a lot of antioxidants, which protect the body's cells from the harmful effects of free radicals.
3.Good for Digestion: Guava is rich in fiber, which improves digestion and helps prevent constipation.
4.Regulates Blood Sugar: It helps control blood sugar levels, which can be beneficial for people with diabetes.
5.Supports Heart Health: Guava helps regulate blood pressure and reduces bad cholesterol, lowering the risk of heart disease.
6.Aids in Weight Loss: Guava is low in calories and high in fiber, keeping you full for longer and preventing overeating.
7.Good for Vision: It contains Vitamin A, which is essential for maintaining good eye health.
Including guava regularly in your diet can help prevent various health issues and improve overall well-being.
I bought these guavas myself and sent them out but the guavas got spoiled.
That's why my guava was overripe
Guava typically stays fresh for 3-5 days at room temperature. However, if stored in the refrigerator, it can last for 7-10 days. The freshness also depends on the ripeness of the guava. Very ripe guava may spoil quickly, while unripe guava tends to last longer.
The guava was very sweet to eat
Guava is generally considered a nutritious and healthy fruit. However, in certain cases, it may cause issues for some individuals. The potential side effects of guava include:
1.Excessive Fiber: Guava is high in fiber, and consuming it in excess can lead to digestive issues such as gas, bloating, or diarrhea.
2.Allergic Reactions: Some people may have an allergy to guava, which can cause skin itching, rashes, or even breathing difficulties.
3.Lowering Blood Sugar Levels: Guava can help reduce blood sugar levels, which may be problematic for people taking diabetes medications, as it could cause their blood sugar to drop too low.
4.Worsening Cold or Cough: Consuming too much guava during a cold or cough might worsen the condition, as it has a cooling effect on the body, potentially aggravating these symptoms.
While these issues are rare, it’s always a good idea to consult a doctor if any health problems arise.
