My country, Sri Lanka, is a beautiful island that we all love. Sri Lanka, an independent state born out of freedom in the Indian Ocean, is truly a reason for our respect.

Sri Lanka is a unique and beautiful country that is rich in diversity. Most of our country is classified according to different regions and weather conditions. For example, the smoky and bitterly cold weather of Nuwara Eliya is mixed with the hot and humid weather of many coastal cities like Colombo and Galle. This diversity adds to the beauty of Sri Lanka.

Many beautiful places in Sri Lanka will delight the eyes without any setbacks. Namely, small Venkutu ponds, Kulages harvested in residential villages, dairy farms, hilly sites and places like a large and beautiful waterfall on a hill add magic to our hearts with their loveliness.

Special places in Sri Lanka

If we talk about the special places in our country, many of them make us proud. We have many very attractive places. For example, Kandy Fountain, Galveera Nuwara Eliya, Yala Park, and Sigiriya are special places for us.

Unique features of our country

Sri Lanka is a country full of many features. For example, our beautiful coastal and valley regions, hilly plains and high mountains, nature and forests, and new international nature reserves like Sinharajaya are the resources of our country.

The farmer on a farm in our country, the factory worker living in the city, the soldier in the army, and the nurse working in the hospital, not only their work but also their humanity, make a difference in Sri Lanka.

Special traditions of our country

Sri Lanka is a country that is famous in various fields of the world. Sports fields, arts, health, agriculture and technology fields, for example, we refer to famous cricketers in the world. Due to the great sports abilities and dedication of our players, our country won respect on the world sports stage.

The health sector of our country also has great traditions. Our excellent private and public healthcare delivery services are an example of our country's successful health policies.

If we talk about future activities for the development of our country, one of the main things we need is the development of the education sector.
