By the way, Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated with great enthusiasm in every city in our country. But there are some areas where other festivals are celebrated besides Eid-ul-Adha. They are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Especially Eid al-Adha, Eid al-Fitr, Shab-e-Barat, Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, etc.

🤍Which is your favourite festival among all these festivals and why?

My favourite festival

##Eid ul Azha

My favorite festival is Eid-ul-Azha because it is our religious festival. And it involves all our hard work and sacrifice. Those who have the status to sacrifice animals, they buy goats, cows, camels, oxen, sheep, goats, etc. according to their status. And they serve this animal till Eid al-Adha. Feeding him, nursing him, taking care of him, taking him to the doctor if he gets sick, besides taking him outside for a walk.

All these things are done by Muslims with great enthusiasm. Children and adults all express great joy in this work. And take care of the safety of their animal. When the 10th of the month of Dhul-Hajj falls, everyone sacrifices the animal they have bought for the sake of Allah.

There are three days of Eid: 10 Zul Hajj, 11 and 12. These three days are Eid al-Adha. In these three days, Muslims can sacrifice their animals at any time from dawn to night.

Why I like

We arrange parties and help the poor

20240926_225404.jpg

I like this festival because we have a lot of animal meat for the sacrifice. Which is much more than our need and we use it for the poor, our relatives and our house according to the order of Allah. Our effort is to distribute most of the meat to the poor. Because in the house of the relatives, the sacrifice itself is also done. That is why there is meat in their house. But the poor who have no status, when the sacrificial meat arrives from our house, they get a chance to spend a few days in peace.
Meat is a basic necessity that every child needs. Whether he is the child of the rich or the poor. But the status of the poor is not such that they can buy the meat. But a rich person or a person who can make a sacrifice can eat meat throughout the year. But the poor get a chance to eat large amounts of meat only on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. Therefore, we Muslims desire and strive to help poor Muslims and provide them with more meat.
However, we try to feed the part of the meat that we keep for cooking in our house by inviting our relatives and having a party at home or any other open place. In this aim we try to make food of all kinds of taste. Which contains mostly meat items.
The purpose of this invitation is to consider each other's happiness only. Girls also apply henna on this Eid.

🤍 How did you celebrate your favourite festival last time?

Arranging dinner party, cooking delicious food

This year when Eid al-Adha was on the 10th of Dhu Hajj, we did not think that we would be able to perform the sacrifice. But Allah helps us more than we think. My husband's elder brother sacrificed on our behalf and brought the whole meat to our house.

After that we gave some of this meat to the poor and also invited the relatives and arranged a good feast in our house.
In which the men made skewers, I made ice cream and fried meat,

while my husband's elder brother's wife made rice and kebabs.

Thus, together we arranged this invitation. In addition to ice cream, there was also trifle, which was brought by my husband's younger brother's wife.

All of us had gathered since morning and were busy preparing for the night feast. Because the kebabs were to be made on the barbecue. Therefore, the work of putting coal, rings, skewers and spices for this was started in the afternoon itself,

while the meat for the fried meat was also kept early for cooking. Apart from this, the masala of Pulau and Shami Kebab was also prepared in the afternoon. So that all the work is completed on time and when it is time to eat at night, everyone can enjoy the meal together.
Alhamdulillah, this feast was very delicious and everyone had a lot of fun. Children showed interest in play xinga game,

While adults showed interest in work. Whenever we have a feast at someone's house, everyone works together whether it involves cooking or washing the dishes and setting up the house. When all the people work together, the work is not only done quickly but also the host is not burdened.
