There isn't much going on here so I thought I would post some piece ideas both to get feedback and to give us something to talk about.

First up is Transfer, this thing has three main uses, all of them support. First one is positioning, this thing can help shuffle the entire board. Second one is sneaky promotions, but it atleast gives some reaction time. I gave it a moral penalty to dissuade putting it in danger to help balance it out.
Last use and the one I think most new players would use it for, is as a lifeline. It can cap any trade to 15 at +++

Next up is Trebuchet. This is a terrible piece, but it might be useful as a formation breaker and giving more use to meteor. Honestly, I have no idea why you would pack it instead of just using a swapping piece but if you have ever played AoE2 you will know where the inspiration came from. +++ can meteor minion line turn 1
but since meteor has such delay that should not be too much of a problem.

Sort:  

Transfer can be OP in endgames where only short-mid range pieces and promoters exist. It also can serve as a fork device when swapping appropiate units (Phalanx would be op if it could be swapped by this piece). The trebuchet needs some kind of buff, maybe eliminating the "Pay 2" cost would make it more viable, making oponent lose tempo for free

Yeah I'm not sure why meteor is pay 2. fire meteormage needs a buff.
