This is all so true and the worst is it is unnoticed and many do not even notice they eat even though they don't like the taste.
I once read about someone saying in a discussion about being forced to eat cake on birthdays: I do not like cake! I only eat what really tastes good so if I gain weight I at least know the weight I gained comes from something I like to eat.
If it comes to food poisoning I don't easily have it nit even if the entire hotel lives on the toilet. I learned restaurants and hotels just like hospitals are far from hygenic. If eating at all it's the best where many locals go and food is freshly prepared and not food as in fastfood restsmaurants. If it comes to hygiene many aren't at home either.

Sorry, I did not get any notification of this post but I know there is no one else that knows the truth of street food. Actually, this place is safe but due to the closure of the highway probably they had no customers and they served leftovers which hit me where it hits worst. I am a home food lover so outside food doesn't work for me anyway. And the fact that being a marketing professional I lived all my life out of the house but that was an old story, you know in young age people can eat and digest anything,
Don't worry I have isdues too. I can not sign into Steemit since yesterday. Tried 3 browsers but same issue and can't solve it with VPN. Now another browser but it's slow and harder to work with.
I always had a hard time to digest food but also have an excellent smell and chemicals can be smelled just like all those additives, burned food and more.
Leftovers are for sure the main problem of food poison. My daughter had it once. We all ate local from the street she wanted soaghetti in a restaurant (hardly no one ordered it, power downs..) it was 3 days and night on the toilet. ☹️
Home cooked is a different style of cooking and it increases the ability to taste more flavours. I know me and my children easily find food way too salty which is in most cases the only taste. Same for the cheese sold.
