I wonder why you don't join the SEC contest with this. Art is beauty, this is entertaining to read, creative + talent are present just like set in the rules of the contest. I know they say you are not allowed to win a second time but still... if you use that hashtag more might see you.
I find it great, indeed a bit too much but customer is king. I love the Steemit signature.

You're right, this post could have been submitted as an entry for the SEC contest. But I wanted to write freely without any constraints.
You have an idea of my talent. I'll try to do even better for the SEC Contest, maybe something even better.

Freedom is worth a lot I know the feeling so I understand you. I no longer join SEC contests and the last ones I twisted into my way. It's the same for the diary game. You know I wrote a diary on Steemit for a long time using the hashtag forthechildren. Later I wrote a kidsdiary and next thediarygame started. Somehow it took all charm away from diaries.
I can see you are talented and there will be more. I wish we could be together with like minded but it's hard to find them and if so the rules and moderating shouldn't take place. It kills creativity. I notice it myself.
Stay who you are, there's no need to do your best for a SEC you won't find like minded there.
I will for sure encourage and cheer on you because you deserve it.
I understand that a free-thinking writer like me, who can write without restrictions, may not be able to create a valuable post that simply answers questions or follows rules. That's just a superficial exercise. Sometimes, it feels necessary to break free from the shackles of conventional thinking.

But the questions is if it's worth your time. To be honest it didn't feel good to and up on a pile of Q&A no one reads.

Based on my observations, 30% of people follow the give-and-take rule, 50% completely ignore it, and 20% read and consider others' opinions, giving importance to your words and feeling obligated to respond
If that 20% is true it's higher than expected.
