Pride, Freedom and Justice
There is nothing to be proud of, she sang.
The swing went higher and higher while she sang pride is a sin, every child knows that.
The music played in her head and she sang along happily, moving her legs back and forth to the beat of the song.
As Pride continued to sing, the world around her paled like her dress. For a moment she stopped swinging and watched the leaves fall from the branches.
That looks nice, she thought, after which she rocked back and forth again and sang along to the tune that remained in her head.
When the world had lost all its color she did not notice it.
As if in a trance, she repeated the song that she remembered most
There is nothing to be proud of.
Pride is vanity, a sin... nothing to be Proud of, every child knows that it's true...

Freedom sat in the tree
On her knee lay the book she received at her birth, its pages still blank. Not once she had picked up a pen to write down her plans.
She was the present. The past didn't count and the future didn't matter.
There was no earth, no sun, no moon, no human who could influence her mood. All she knew was the colourful tree she grew up in.
She enjoyed life. She had no goal to strive for to be accepted and fit in, felt no fear of being rejected.
Freedom existed, enjoyed life, but didn't notice that she had been labelled and abandoned as a useless item that added nothing to the average modern human's life.
She was not more than the faint memory of those very few left who had once known and fought for her existence.

Justice was on her way to her family tree
How long had it been since her rights were taken away?
In a democracy your services are no longer needed, her resignation letter said, _make sure all your scales are packed before the sun sets.
The place where she was sent looked dark when she arrived, but each day she was there, life changed a bit more till the family tree showed more colour than ever.
She had hung up her scales on the branches of the stately tree. This way she could weight the world from a distance and decide if and when she was expected.
Not yet, rustled the leaves, humanity is not capable to understand yet.
Justice nodded, she could wait until humanity's stupid thoughts and false nonsense were silenced and there was room for a better life.

Beautiful as always
Justice can retire now, he is old, his services are not needed anymore though he is still getting paid out of our tax money.
But he has failed us and humanity and this world.
All in vain

I can't help feeling a bit miserable for Pride, that girl doesn't have a great view. Fingers crossed Justice will show up saving them all or at least the three of them. The trees look great. Good for you. Thanks for hosting this K.
