I like these traditional pictures a lot. We have similar customs too. When there's a wedding, the groom's side takes the baraat (wedding procession) to the bride's house, and then the bride is bid farewell and sent off with the groom. Earlier, the first journey used to be from one house to another. But now, both families book a single lawn and perform all the rituals there, and then the bride is sent off with the groom.
Di tempat saya ini, acara hanya berlangsung 2 hari saja, 1 hari di tempat mempelai wanita, yaitu mengantar mempelai laki-laki kesana. Hari berikutnya pestanya di adakan oleh mempelai laki-laki yang datang rombongan mempelai wanita. Untuk tempat boleh diadakan dimana saja. Di negara saya ini juga berbeda-beda adat istiadat antara daerah 1 dengan daerah lain.
