Through their costumes, each nation expresses its cultural identity, and through their costumes you recognize the nation's last fire nations. They wear a red costumes which stand for fire.
The water nations, have blue costumes which stand for water and they stay close to it.
The earth nations wear brown costumes the colour of soil, earth.
I believe many watched these movies. To me Avatar was the best animation to watch back during my childhood days.

The tattoos of the Waterbenders like Katara and Sokka show their connection with the natural world, the ancient traditions. The Water Tribes' costumes, have wave patterns, shells, and are icy blue. It shows their harmony with the ocean. Their robes, of sea currents, mean the adaptability of water. They can call water through their hands and it answers.

The Fire Nation's costumes, have fiery hues, armor-like attire, and dragon motives. This means the passion of flames. The headpieces and helmets have means. They stand for their rank and how they control fire, like Prince Zuko and Azula.

The Earth Kingdom's costumes are natural fabrics, show grounding and connection to the land. Their practical, functional attire is inspired by ancient Earth Kingdom farmers and laborers. It represents the kingdom's values of hard work, loyalty, and tradition. The headwear and badges worn show their connection to earth and their role in maintaining balance and harmony.

I see the Avatar costume as remains, an enduring reminder of power, courage, wisdom, and commitment to greater good.
The Last Airbender, the Avatar State costume is more than just an outfit. It's a symbol of the boundless potential in us all, waiting.
The Avatar costumes speak to Aang's connection to the ancient cultures and traditions. The sleeves and pant legs are the Airbender's signature of movement.
